Our next book drop will be Saturday, December 10, 2022,from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Book drops are held at the Friends of the Hockessin Library shed, on the corner of Old Lancaster Pike and Millcreek Road, across from the Hockessin Fire Department. Check here for details on what items are accepted.

Hockessin Library Hours

The Hockessin Public Library is open six days a week:

  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday: 10 am to 9 pm
  • Friday and Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm
  • Sunday: 1 pm to 5 pm.
The library is closed on Thursdays.

Reading Garden Watering
Volunteers Needed
 
  Would you like to spend a quiet hour in the Library Reading Garden helping to keep it looking beautiful with very little effort?

The Friends of the Hockessin Library need your help to water the Garden once a week from July through September.

Choose your week(s) and day and provide your contact information at info@friendsofthehockessinlibrary.org.

A Board member will be in touch with you to explain where to find the hose and how to use the water key.
