MONTHLY USED BOOK DONATION SATURDAYS RESUME MARCH 13, 2021
The Friends of the Hockessin Library are happy to report the resumption of used books collection at our drive-up location on Mill Creek Road at Old Lancaster Pike from 9am to noon on Saturday, March 13, 2021 weather permitting. Please check back here, at our Facebook page, and the Library main phone number for updates.
Donors may drop off used books on the second Saturday of the month. We will continue to abide by CDC and State of Delaware COVID-19 pandemic mitigation guidelines and rules by cleaning hands or wearing gloves, and by asking everyone to observe social distancing and to wear a mask or face covering.
The Friends are grateful to all of those donors who brought us books in 2020. The November 2020 drop-off was colossal! Due to the pandemic, we are still not able to field our usual complement on sorters and packers. Therefore, we ask that you closely follow our book donation guidelines in order to reduce our need to handle and dispose of unsalable material.
